Shoreham Beach Nursery · From age 2
A happy start to school life
Shoreham Beach Nursery was established in September 2025 as a result of need and demand from local families. It is an integral part of the school and part of our Early Years Village, led by qualified and experienced staff.

About our nursery
Children who attend our Nursery have access to a dedicated outside area, the outside reception play area, the hall, the wildlife garden, our bus and climbing facilities.
We aim to provide high quality care and education within a safe, happy, interesting, family-oriented environment in which each child is encouraged to develop their full potential whilst having lots of fun. The children in our care are encouraged to develop lively, enquiring, imaginative minds, to enjoy learning, and to improve their social and personal life skills.
Following the early years foundation stage curriculum, we aim for all children to see learning as a natural and enjoyable part of their everyday life, to be confident and independent, and to express their feelings and ideas with ease. We believe happy children give of their best and achieve their full potential.
Whilst all the children benefit from a rich daily diet of learning to socialise, personal development and developing their play skills, they also have daily phonics, maths and writing lessons. As you would expect, this is a particular focus in our Nursery.
Our aim is to
- 1Ensure high quality Early Years provision in a primary school setting
- 2Support local children and families
- 3Ensure the long-term stability of the school
